About Us

JVL EXPRESSIONS is a husband and wife portrait photography business based in North Central Texas. Founded in 2009 by Jorge and Liz Velez, JVL EXPRESSIONS provides on-location and studio portraiture.

Both have shared their love for the art of photography for over 13 years. Their passion for photography goes beyond human and animal portraiture, as they capture environmental, nature and still life portraits during their travels.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We all come from many different backgrounds, yet are all united by one Creator. We strive to capture the beauty, distinct features and expressions God has given each individual.

To us, photography is not just about taking photos, it’s about capturing special moments and milestones that happen once in a lifetime. Whether it’s a newborn, high school senior or a couple exchanging their vows on their special day, photographs leave an imprint of these memories in our souls. 

Each portrait should also tell a story of Love through expression and sentiment.  Each moment captured on camera is a story of love unfolding before our lens.  Those moments are captured for each loved one to hold as a beautiful memory.
